Terminal X

Terminal 2 Basement | Changi Airport Group

Exhibition Design | Spatial & Experiential Design, Creative Direction, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics

Completion 2025

Inspired by the idea of Ripple of Transformation, the exhibition explores how innovation can spark new ideas, aspirations and possibilities. Light, movement, reflection, digital media and physical exhibits come together to create a spatial journey that brings Changi Airport Group’s culture of innovation to life.

The exhibition is organised into two distinct chambers. Chamber 1 introduces the ripple concept through reflective stainless steel ceiling panels, suspended ribbons and dynamic lighting. The ribbons extend towards a feature wall, where customized 3D models are arranged as a visual motif, presenting CAG’s innovations, aspirations, challenges and prototypes.

Chamber 2 shifts into a darker and more immersive atmosphere, with a 200-degree projection wall surrounding visitors. Subtle ripple ribbons, integrated LED lighting and runway-inspired floor lights reference the airport environment while guiding visitors towards the workshop.

From creative direction and spatial design to exhibit development and completion, the project brings together physical and digital elements to create an evolving exhibition experience that reflects Changi Airport Group’s spirit of innovation and aspiration.

As the experience unfolds, the static composition transforms through projection mapping. Motion graphics move across the wall and interact with the physical 3D models, transforming the exhibit from a physical display into a dynamic visual narrative. Light, movement and shadows become part of the installation, creating a seamless dialogue between the physical and digital elements.
